Our immersion homestays are so successful because you will communicate in English all of the time during your stay. The fastest way to learn English is through a mixture of formal tuition and informal communication where the student-teacher ratio is as small as possible.
Our activity programs enable you to practice in the afternoons what you have studied in the morning. Jersey Language Adventure is unique because your afternoon activities are usually with your language teacher, giving you the opportunity to practice speaking to your teacher in a relaxed environment. You will be exposed to English in a variety of situations which will widen and deepen your understanding. Language input from your teacher continues through the afternoon and into the evening allowing you to develop fluency and accuracy. During your stay in Jersey you will be welcomed as one of the family and we aim to make you feel comfortable and relaxed in our home. Meal times are informal and fun, and we encourage you to speak at every opportunity. We are a sociable family, we like meeting new people and have a wide range of interests and we will invite you to accompany us in your free time. We like to make the most of what Jersey has to offer, enjoying the beaches, barbecuing at various locations around the island and eating out picnic style to see the sunsets and enjoy the warm summer evenings. We offer a very personalised service and are happy to try to accommodate your specific needs.
